About the initiative
Our purpose
Across religious and ethical traditions, people encounter calls to mercy, non-harm, stewardship, justice, and reverence for life. Yet animals—especially those affected by industrial food systems—are often missing from the conversation.
We help communities look closer, learn together, and translate moral reflection into practical action at a pace that builds trust and lasting change.
The Ark of Compassion’s role
Pilot initiatives, gather learning, and shape adaptable models.
Bring together communities, scholars, speakers, sanctuaries, and partners.
Every community retains its own identity, authority, theology, and ethical framework.
Invite tradition-rooted leaders to guide resources, standards, and collaboration.
Forming in 2026
